Robert PearlmanIn addition to the music video, Velcro also marked the Apollo 11 50th anniversary with a commemorative kit that it sent out to some of its distributors and customers.

The kits came in a box marked with Velcro's Apollo 50th anniversary logo and included a graphic showing how the hook and loop fasteners were used as part of the Apollo A7L spacesuit. Inside were two Velcro watch straps: a full-size replica as was worn on the moon and one sized for those not wearing a spacesuit.

Also included were a Velcro Apollo 50th anniversary logo patch and a sample of Velcro-brand products.

SpaceAholicWhat is the correlation between the candy and Velcro?
Robert PearlmanI believe they were just candies with space-related names that were not chocolate so would not melt. That said, both the Orbit gum and Starburst are held in the box using... Velcro.
